Scope of work: Purchasing of equipment and installation works for the project “Construction of the classical energy and orc production installation and it’s integration into the existing plant”.
The modernization of the Grivița District Heating and Electrical Power Plant has introduced a premiere in Romania with the combined cycle backpressure steam turbine – ORC turbine (Organic Rankine Cycle) used for the production of electricity and district heating.
Our company’s part in this project was to dismantle the old equipment in order to make space for the new ones, installing the new equipment (6 MW steam turbine and auxiliaries, ORC cycle turbine and auxiliaries, together with the closed-circuit cooling towers), manufacturing and procurement of the materials necessary for the following pipelines – steam, connection between the controlled steam extraction system of the steam turbine and ORC evaporator, steam turbine back pressure, condensate, cooling water, oil and compressed air.
