Scope of work: Major overhaul of the DSL 50-1 steam turbine
The major overhaul works of the steam turbine consisted in:
- Opening the turbine in order to repair the diaphragms and the nozzle block
- Recasting the turbine and generator journal bearings
- Repairing the main oil pump
- Repairing the turbine speed governor and protection system
Adjusting the condensator’s spring foundation
