Scope of work: Modernization of the two-stage centrifugal pump, manufactured by VOITH
The modernization of the units had the objective of increasing the efficiency and output of the pumps by modifying the pump’s casing geometry and the hydraulic contour of the runner and deflectors. For this to happen, the pump had to be completely dismantled, pulled in the dismantling bay, machining the old parts and new parts and reassembled.
