The complete overhaul of the Khartoum North Power Station units involved: Adjustment of bearings, casting of new bearings, replacement of efficiency labyrinths - both rotor and stator, rotor balancing, overhaul of lubrication system, overhaul of control system - MSV and regulating valves, cleaning of condenser tubes and inspection of their condition by Eddy current method, painting of condenser, cleaning of generator, painting of coils and electrical measurements, reblading of last rotor stage - stage 43.
